Why you Should Buy a New Laptop Computer
If you are spending most of your time on a desktop, then it's time to go out into the world to get some fresh air. If you are sick of returning to the damp, dark cave you call a "workspace" on your desktop, maybe it's time for you to get a notebook computer.
Buying a new notebook could be your window to the world, as you can take your notebook wherever you go. Work on whatever you want wherever you are. This can definitely increase your productivity. But how do you find that new laptop that will do all the things you want it to do? Do you need a lot of disk space? Do you need that high-end graphics processor? There are many places where you can find notebook deals. Before buying your first notebook computer, there are a few things you should consider.
The size of the laptop is a major factor in deciding which laptop you will want to buy. You would also want to look into the CPU, RAM, DVD/CD drives, hard disk storage, graphics cards, and other peripherals. The larger size notebooks usually will have more speed, power, and built in extras.
Currently, many notebooks on the market comes with Dual core central processors that are much faster than single core CPUs (like the Celeron M or the Sempron) and allows you to do things much faster. If you want an even faster notebook, then you can get a laptop with a Core 2 Duo or even a Quad core CPU, but they are more expensive.
Another thing to consider is how much RAM or memory the computer comes with. The more RAM you have, the more things you will be able to do. The average notebook today comes with about 2 or 3 gigabytes of memory. The memory can be cheaply and easily expanded if you know where to find a good deal and you know how to expand it by yourself.
Drive storage is another thing you will want to look into. You will need a lot of this if you want to store music or videos on your notebook. DVD/CD RW drives are also a must have if you plan on burning CDs or DVDs on the go. Some of the more expensive notebooks even come with a Blu-ray player so you can watch high definition movies. If you plan to use your notebook for heavy gaming, look for a notebook that has a separate, instead of an integrated graphics processor.
These days, it is quite easy to find a cheap desktop computer. However, in today's busy life, notebook computers are quickly becoming a hot commodity. If you search in the right places for the best deal, you can easily find a laptop that can do most of the things you need for an affordable price.
