my airsoft gun is jammed?
i have a WELL airsoft gun it is a D-95 series battery powered mp5 i have recently had a airsoft war and it became jammed it was a early christmas present please help i dont want to have to take it back
Step 1: Remove the magazine, battery, and all BBs from the product. Use safety glasses whenever working on your replica.
Step 2: Turn your hop-up to OFF or NORMAL so it does not protrude in the barrel of the replica.
Step 3: Take you de-jamming/cleaning rod and use the de-jamming tool. This rod-like dual tool comes in the box of every midrange or higher airsoft gun. It is usually black and grey in color. The de-jamming end has a slope to it. Insert it with the farthest point of the rod at the top like this picture -> ====/ (not like ====== or any other fashion) and push the rod against the BB. The lodged BB should fall through the magazine well if you did this properly.
If your replica is on the cheaper end, it may not come with a de-jamming rod. It also may have a fixed hop-up (so it always protrudes into the barrel), if so, you cannot use the method described to remove the lodged BB because it would damage the hop-up severely. You would most likely have to disassemble the entire gun in that situation.
Advice for the future: Even if your replica comes with .12g BBs, do not use them. The source of your jam is most likely due to a poor BB rather than any operation fault. I would suggest you use .20g BBs. You can find these almost anywhere, even Walmart. These high quality Bbs are denoted by their white color. Do not use any colored BBs because they are usually always .12s. .12s commonly have ridges, seams, or 'nipples' which result from their cheap construction and molding. This is the reason they jam and destroy airsoft guns because they get easily lodged in the barrel due to their imperfections.
