Is BB going through its Father Ted Eurovision phase.....?
....anyone that recalls the famous Father Ted episode where Ireland is fed up with the cost of winning the Eurovision song contest, and having to re host the event every year. To remedy they put up the worst possible song so they don't have to continue.
Is that what Channel 4 and the BB are doing this year, the production value is terrible, they're repeating the same lame tasks and costumes and repeating very similar failed characters from previous years. When everyone knows that a decent series hinges on a combination of good housemates and good tasks. Surely they realise this, why are they going out of their way to make it dull?
Bluebell - I agree, and always enjoy your soapbox, but Im wondering if they're doing it on purpose. Maybe its an expensive show to produce and they want rid?
They've really stuffed up this year Phil with the dire bunch of HMs and limp tasks. Instead of paying for that d*ckhead Isaac to come over for a few days why on earth didn't they spend the money on some really good tasks instead? It makes you wonder at the height of intelligence the BB producers have actually got between them! They should also make the tasks hard - like cutting their food so they eat porridge, have harsher punishments, bring back the warders/prisoners task - now that, if done correctly (it was a psychological experiment once) would really mess with their heads and have them warring!! Right, I'll get off my soap box now!
